Antenatal classes are informal sessions run for small groups of parents expecting babies around the same time. We offer balanced information about the options available for childbirth, as well as encouraging discussion so that you can make informed choices about your labour and your baby's birth.

These are regular sessions at branch members' homes to welcome expectant parents or those with young babies to the branch and to get to know some other local mums.  The sessions are free and are held across the branch region, so there is always one near to you at some time during the quarter.  The details of these sessions are published in the quarterly, Little Acorns newsletter.

Stratford Bumps & Babes- third friday of every month (commencing Feb 20th 2009).  This is held at Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Old Town on the third Friday of every month from 10-12.  The next two sessions are Jan 30th and Feb 20th.

Breastfeeding Counsellors are trained volunteers who have breastfed their own babies.  They provide support and research-based information to mothers on a confidential basis.  Local counsellors can be contacted via the NCT Breastfeeding Line on 0870 444 8708.

Breast Pump Hire can be invaluable to help with special feeding situations.

Always extremely popular, these are held twice a year, in spring/early summer and autumn where you can both grab a bargain from maternity clothes to baby gear such as cots, nappies, books etc.  We recommend arriving early!  Once you have finished with your baby stuff, feel free to sell it at a future sale.  For more information, please contact our Nearly New Sale co-ordinator.
