News for Winter

Finally the weather is cooler, the runny noses are constant and twinkly lights are appearing in shops and homes.  It is not long now until Christmas and it seems like I know of lots of people who are having babies at the moment -  congratulations in particular to Alice (our former Treasurer) who has just had her third daughter, Annabel.  Congratulations to all of our members who are preparing Christmas with a newborn (or very large bump!), we hope you will come along to our Bumps and Babes sessions in the new year.  Our times for our Stratford based B&B sessions will be changing in the new year to the 3rd Friday of each month (commencing Feb 09).  The next two sessions are

Friday 30th January, Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Stratford, 10-12.00
Friday 20th February, Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Stratford, 10-12.00

No B&B in December.  There are also sessions held on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Snitterfield.  For more information, please email here.

Christmas drinks are planned at the Windmill pub in Stratford on Wednesday 17th December from 8pm, again, everyone is welcome.

New members are also invited to a Tea Party to be held on 12th February, please call Vic for more details on 01789 415 822.  Don't be shy - bring your bump or baby and have a cuppa and some cake.

The branch is still looking for volunteers, especially anyone who would like to be a "contact mum" for the Stratford and Wellesbourne areas.  This would suit any mum (or dad!) who would like to meet other mums and get more involved within the branch in some small way.  Contact here if you interested and we will give you a call back.  The branch also has lots of other roles available.  Maybe you can write an article for the Little Acorns magazine....next deadline 1 January, so get writing.  Photos, birth stories, birth announcements, birthdays, articles all welcome.  Click here to submit a contribution.
